Contribution paper:

The one page abstract of contribution paper should be submitted by the end of April. Program committee will select some paper for the oral presentation and others will be poster session. Organizer plans to publish the proceedings of this symposium as a NIM special issue along with previous symposium.

 Symposium site:

 

Hiroshima city is located at the west part of Japan, about one hour flight from Tokyo or two and half hour by train from

Kansai/Osaka international airport. Famous and attractive city, Kyoto and Nara are in Kansai/Osaka area.

In Hiroshima, you should visit the Peace Memorial Park of Hiroshima and learn something. Miyajima Island is the beautiful place and selected as the world heritage. Old wooden building stands in seashore. As the symposium excursion, we plan to visit the island.

 

The symposium will be held in Hotel Essor Hiroshima, close to central city, One kilometer from Hiroshima train station.

One and half kilometer to Peace Memorial Park. Five hundred meters to down town area.

 

Transportation:

 

1) You may reserve the flight to Hiroshima airport via Narita/Tokyo airport. Only one flight from Narita/Tokyo to Hiroshima, ANA 3129 (19:05) is available.  From Hiroshima airport to Hiroshima city,

limousine service (\1365) is available.

 

2) When you arrive at Kansai/Osaka international airport, you take the train (HARUKA express train) from airport to Osaka, then transfer to SHINKANSEN (famous bullet train, named NOZOMI) from Osaka to Hiroshima. It takes 2.5 hours from airport to Hiroshima. If you have a plan to drop or visit Kyoto or Nara after symposium, Kansai/Osaka airport will be convenient for you.

 

Weather:

Mid June may be in rainy season and you should bring umbrella with you. It is warm and somewhat humid.

 

Symposium Registration & Hotels:

 

Registration will be submitted through E-mail by May 15^th. Registration fee is 10,000yen (including the cost of proceedings and excursion). Organizing office can accept cash (yen) only at the conference site.

 

Hotel in Hiroshima area is rather busy. You should submit following hotel request form as soon as possible. Please fill the following form and send it to ohsugi@hirax6.hepl. hiroshima-u.ac.jp as soon as possible. Japanese participants may arrange hotel by yourself.

  Symposium dinner is planed on the second day evening. Cost will be 6,000yen.
